In this role your responsibilities will be of a technical nature with decisions made within the limits of general practices, policies, and standards. Your work will involve complex manufacturing problems including the need to root cause and follow issues to resolve. Level will be commensurate with experience and potential.
You will be responsible for equipment related to the manufacturing process. You will be required to use your independent discernment.
Your responsibility may involve training others and assigning work to a small group of employees.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Analyze and implement product or machinery designs for the best method for manufacturing processes
- Propose and evaluate the processes for equipment in assigned area
- Direct the design, development, and/or improvement of manufacturing processes for assigned area
- Keep regular contact with partners outside the work group
- Provide direction to small group of technical employees
- Evaluate or monitor expenditures for processes and/or equipment
Additional Description
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technical Field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of engineering experience
Preferred:
- SolidWorks
- Previous experience working with injection molding
- Previous experience working with assembly process
