Create new and unique design (interior, exterior, color and trim and product) and component ideas and concepts independently for automotive vehicles and other mobility products through traditional sketches as well as digitally through the use of 2D and 3D technology. Collaborate frequently with design team, sculpting organization, engineering and fabrication teams in the development of new designs. Take a big-picture perspective on customer needs and future transportation and create provocative concepts and designs. Work duties involve a considerable amount of perception, design taste, judgement and creativity as well as a definite degree of skill and accuracy. Provide insight and recommendations to supervisors and leadership while possessing willingness and acumen to act upon general guidance in a deadline driven environment. Maintain knowledge of current design trends and technology. Present ideas frequently to management and leadership to communicate design ideas. Exhibit design courage and challenge expectations.
