Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Warren three times per week, at minimum.
The Role
Join the Brand Quality Propulsion team in an exciting position - Brand Quality Manager - Propulsion. This is a multifaceted role focusing on product quality, reliability, durability and issue remediation for batteries, drive units power electronics, transmissions and engines.
Brand Quality is responsible for improving customer retention and the vehicle ownership experience by quickly resolving product quality concerns and providing multi-functional, closed loop solutions for current and future vehicles. Positions in this area of the business require creativity, initiative, independence in judgment and action, strong leadership and excellent communications.
What You’ll Do

Identify and assess quality and durability issues using Warranty Parts Center reviews, product reports, warranty data, and field cases (FSE, TAC, ParTech).

Drive issue resolution by collaborating with Design Release Engineers (DREs), QRD teams, Supplier Quality Engineers (SQEs), Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Leadership—documenting findings in PRTS.

Manage field communications , including Technical Service Bulletins, Preliminary Information bulletins, emerging issues videos, Global Connect messages, and Tech Link articles.

Support GM field personnel, call centers, dealers, and service teams in resolving product service and technical issues efficiently.

Monitor warranty data and field reports to proactively identify trends and facilitate solutions.

Ensure timely documentation of issues in PRTS while keeping QRD teams, BQMs, DREs, SQEs, and other key stakeholders informed.

Champion customer and dealer feedback during Warranty Work Cell reviews and special part return evaluations.

Lead Warranty Waste Reduction and Avoidance initiatives , tracking impact and improvements.

Participate in warranty review and teardown meetings , providing updates on quality issues and resolution progress.

Engage in CPIT meetings , contributing to continuous process improvement and technical excellence.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):
-
3+ years of experience in automotive service and parts business, with direct involvement in dealer and field service operations.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Proven ability to collaborate and influence across functions and organizations, effectively driving change and operational improvements.

Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, fostering global relationships to resolve complex issues.

Experience working cross-functionally and cross-culturally, demonstrating adaptability in diverse business environments.

Exceptional multitasking and project management skills, balancing multiple initiatives while working independently with minimal supervision.
