Role Overview:

We are looking for a Staff Robot Simulation Engineer to develop advanced simulators that support the development, testing, and validation of autonomous robotic systems. In this role, you will focus on building 2D and 3D simulators, creating scenarios, integrating robot software with simulation platforms, and enabling teams to safely test functionality and behavior before real-world deployment.

You will work cross-functionally with experts in autonomy and AI, contributing to system-level validation and the continuous improvement of system robustness and validation workflows.

About the Organization : The Robotics Software team is pioneering the next generation of autonomous robotic systems, focusing on autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) and intelligent robotic platforms. We develop full-stack robotics capabilities—from perception and planning to control and system integration—bringing innovative, real-world autonomous solutions to the future of the work.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and extend 2D and 3D simulation platforms to support testing, validation, and performance analysis of autonomous robotic systems.

  • Create and maintain simulation scenarios that represent real-world use cases and edge conditions.

  • Integrate robot navigation software with simulation platforms.

  • Support debugging and testing of robot behavior within the simulated environment.

  • Analyze simulation results to identify software or system issues.

  • Develop simulation regression and progression testing workflows
