Hybrid : This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the Detroit Renaissance Center three times per week, at minimum.
The Role
The R2R Transformation team within Global Business Solutions – Transact To Deliver is focused on driving an extensive shift in strategy, structure, systems, processes and technology across the enterprise. We strive to be global strategic business partners, delivering world class Finance and Accounting transformational solutions. We operate as a global organization, supporting various functions including Finance, Controllership, HR, Manufacturing, Sales, Marketing and a growing list of new business partnerships. As a member of the R2R transformational team, you will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to provide a fresh prospective and deliver business results. You will gain cutting edge technology experience (SAP S4 Hanna) and cross functional exposure that will allow you the flexibility to manage and develop your career.
What You'll Do

Partner with cross-functional teams to assess current processes and identify opportunities for improvement

Lead key initiatives across the Finance Core and R2R transformation roadmap using Agile methodologies

Define future-state processes and system requirements to drive standardization and enhance the customer experience
-
Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to implement digital solutions, including SAP S/4HANA
-
Support testing, deployment, and hyper-care activities for new tools and processes
-
Develop and deliver training and communications to global audiences
-
Create dashboards and reporting tools to improve visibility and decision-making
-
Build strong relationships across Finance, Controllership, Tax, and Transformation teams
-
Provide guidance and support to implementation teams and business users
-
Contribute to special projects focused on process improvement, change management, and integration

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Information Technology (Accounting preferred)
-
5–10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles
-
Hands-on experience with SAP financial systems
-
Proven experience in finance and accounting system implementations
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-
Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams
-
Ability to influence and drive change through education and relationship-building
-
Skilled in transforming current-state processes and designing future-state operating models
-
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a matrixed environment
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels
-
Confidence in asking challenging questions respectfully and maintaining professionalism under pressure
-
Proactive in identifying risks and developing mitigation plans
-
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
-
Ability to manage multiple assignments independently and meet tight deadlines
What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
-
Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Accounting strongly preferred)
-
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
-
Experience with SAP S/4HANA platforms
-
Background in General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Treasury, or FP&A processes
-
Familiarity with internal controls and compliance frameworks
