About the role:

The Systems Analyst works as a member of a team responsible for the design and implementation, configuration and administration of servers implemented on GM Standard platforms (Windows, Suse Linux and Sun Solaris). The Systems Analyst will handle all integration tasks while working across several levels of the architecture. (Operating System, Middleware and Database)  This role will ensure proper configuration of each layer in relation to each application (Custom development or COTS). The Systems Analyst will also be responsible for documentation and support of processes involving application installation and patching, performance improvement, availability of business server platforms, and troubleshooting technical issues.

 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 -      Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology related discipline or equivalent experience.

-      At least 5 years of experience working in a UNIX and Windows environment.

-      At least 3 years of experience in installation, configuration, and administration of Oracle WebLogic Server.

-      At least 3 years of experience in supporting Java and J2EE applications deployed in multi-platform environment.

-     At least 3 years experience with Data Stage

-     At least 3 years of experience in installation, configuration, and administration of Oracle RDBMS.

-      Experience with both VMware and high-availability architecture.

Preferred Qualifications:

-      Oracle Certified Associate (OCA)

-      Oracle WebLogic Server 11g System Administrator or equivalent
