The Test Specialist for Hardware Interface – Infotainment SW will be an important member of our newly founded software group at GM Canada, which is part of the larger GM Global Engineering team. The Test Specialist will bring hands-on hardware experience (hardware debug, and hardware/software integration) for our hardware equipment including tracking/coordination work to manage our test lab and equipment (order, and allocation etc).
What We Need You To Do
- Plan and track the test hardware and equipment based on software development and test plan
- Integrate and configure the different modules and accessories to make the test hardware and equipment fully functional. Test hardware and equipment may include the boards, connectors, cables, display, and packaged modules for the vehicle etc.
- Track the compatibility of software and test hardware and fix the compatibility issue, to ensure the right test hardware configuration to support the testing for different software versions
- Manage the test labs to set up the test hardware & equipment, and oversee the daily operations.
