Position summary

General Motors (GM) has an opening for an experienced billing analyst as it defines the future of mobility, and develops its connected vehicle strategy to become the most customer centric automaker. 


The GCCX Revenue Management team configures, tests, triages, and enhances our current OnStar billing systems to ensure a quality customer experience and to maximize GCCX’s revenue opportunities. The most recent features launched include Remote Link, Family Link, In-Vehicle 4G Wireless Connectivity, and Smart Driver among many others, plus more in the pipeline. As part of the GCCX Revenue Management team you’ll be a key member of the cross functional team developing and executing General Motors’ connected vehicle strategy while launching connected vehicle commerce businesses and driving the industry’s future through the development of customer centric technologies and services. You’ll also help us manage our global customer contact footprint by actively working with systems in North America, Europe and, soon to be launched, South America. Job Responsibilities

  • Updates OnStar’s product catalog
  • Prepares and analyzes various billing and financial data
  • Gathers business requirements
  • Analyzes proposed business cases for accuracy
  • Creates/reviews system and process changes
  • Perform system and table maintenance based on new business rules
  • Continually looks for business process improvements
  • Writes ad-hoc reports as needed
  • Prepares data with charts and diagrams
  • Updates Credit Card Decline Deactivation processes
  • Searches out and corrects data integrity issues
  • Develops and documents end to end processes
  • Monitors and audits reports to ensure accuracy
  • Assist business owners outside of own work group
  • Supports User Acceptance Testing and builds Requirements Traceability Matrices
  • Performs tasks/analysis as assigned by senior analysts/supervisors 

 

Skills / Experience / Knowledge Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Information Systems
  • Zuora’s Z-Billing, CSGI’s SingleView Convergent Billing, or other billing system experience a plus
  • SQL experience preferred
  • Ability to think critically and solve complex problems
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks to align with department and program initiatives
