Position summary

 
 
** PART TIME POSITION  **
Develop Plans and Schedules; Prepare & Conduct test; Report ADV Status; Support Quality Processes; Capture and Submit Best Practices, Lessons Learned and customer surveys; Support ADV process to reduce Hardware and to realize RLM (Road- Lab-Math) strategy; Manage Export validation activities in foreign countries with local partners; Support Vehicle Validation - Type Approval Activities; Coordinate work with internal and external customers and suppliers; participate in Problem Solving Teams; participate in DFMEA work groups; Create and Manage Vehicle and/or Commodity  ADV Subplans; Review Program/Process Results; Analyzes and interprets resuting data from tests (determines data anomolies); Maintains frequent communication with customers; Prepares formal written test reports; Frequent contact with others outside of work group

  • BS in Engineering
  • Basic automotive knowledge; basic engineering principals; entire Engineering structure ; validation process
  • Good knowledge of CAN Communication protocol
  • Action oriented and self-motivated
  • Good oral and written communication skills 
  • Basic computer skills; microsoft office software
  • Validation Apprentice Certification; Ability to work in PRTS,  E-squared
  • Familiar with CAE programs
  • This position requires the ability to legally operate a motor vehicle on a regular basis
