In this Staff DevOps Engineer role, you will lead the development and take ownership of our overall cloud networking, SSO, security and scale for BrightDrop’s new electrified fleet. What you get to do in this role:

Lead the improvement of our existing infrastructure to meet the high bar of a reliable, highly available, scalable, and secure environment.

Take ownership of Azure B2C development and deployment.

Work with the Security team to implement recommendations to both secure our environment and to meet required standards for our customers.

Build, maintain and improve current services infrastructure.

Participate in ‘On Call’ DevOps schedule to support production.
Additional Description
Qualifications:
-
8+ years of hands-on DevOps experience
-
5+ years delivering enterprise solutions on the Azure platform
-
Strong networking and security experience (TLS, SAML, PKI, VPN, Firewalls, Routing, Load balancing etc.)
-
Strong experience building and maintaining scaled distributed and redundant systems with fault tolerance.
-
Significant experience with Azure Front Door
-
Significant experience implementing Azure B2C
-
Experience working with Azure Sentinel.
-
Experience with using Azure Keyvault for secrets management.
-
Proficiency in Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates and Azure CLI
-
Strong experience with configuration and management of SSO
-
Strong experience in scripting/programing – Python, Java, PowerShell, Bash.

4+ years of work experience working with Terraform, Chef or Ansible.
The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant in the California Bay Area which includes the following counties: Marin, Contra Costa, San Francisco, Alameda, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Santa Cruz might be paid in accordance with the California law.
The compensation may not be representative for positions located outside of the California Bay Area.
The annual salary range for this role is $180,000 - $275,600. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
