Work Arrangement:

Hybrid: Position does not require an employee to be on-site full-time but the general expectation is that the employee be onsite an average of three (3) days each week in SE Michigan.

As part of the Global Purchasing & Supply Chain Internship Program, you will be collaborating on innovation challenges, interacting with Industry leaders, attending cross-functional events, and volunteering for community service activities. The Internship Program is a 10, 11, or 12-week internship where current college students will perform jobs and gain valuable work experience in one of the following areas:

Additional Description

Required Qualifications:

  • Pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in one of the following areas: Supply Chain, Purchasing, Procurement/ Acquisitions and Contract Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, Applied Engineering, Logistics

  • Must be graduating between August 2024 and May 2028

What will give you a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Previous purchasing, logistics, or supply chain internship experience

  • Participation in Supply Chain case competition team or similar school association

  • Emerging partnership and teamwork skills and ability to learn from and share knowledge with co-workers in a fast-paced environment

Student Stipend: GM will provide a one-time lump sum taxable stipend payment to eligible students selected for the 2024 Student Program.

Pay Transparency: The salary range for this role is $3,500 - $6,700, dependent upon class status and degree.
