Work Arrangement :
Onsite: This position requires an employee to be on-site on a full-time basis in Southern California.
The Role:
Candidate will choose a vehicle that has been approved for use (this can be a vehicle that has already been revealed to the public, or a design intern’s concept) and produce at least two CGI promotional images, and one promotional video or real-time interactive experience for it. These should promote and generate excitement for an upcoming vehicle ‘reveal.’
The project will begin with brainstorming ideas to develop a conceptual vision, and research into the latest techniques that the automotive and similar industries might utilize to achieve the best results. This will be followed by pitches which will be presented to Design executive leadership. This pitch will be required to show style and story, as well as brand character and include a storyboard.
Final presentation will consist of a verbal presentation on visual and emotional choices made for the vehicle, as well as review the final video or experience and images.

Primary Responsibilities:

Creative development of story and art direction.

Execution of concept resulting in at least 2 still images and 1 promotional film or interactive experience.

Managing deadlines and own project’s production schedule.

Required Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or Advanced degree in Entertainment Design and Digital Production, Visual Effects, Computer Animation, 3D Animation, or related field

Must be graduating on or after August 2024

Student Stipend: GM will provide a one-time lump sum taxable stipend payment to eligible students selected for the 2024 Student Program.
Pay Transparency: The salary range for this role is $4,000 -$6,100, dependent upon class status and degree.
