This role is categorized as Hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Austin, TX or Warren, MI 3 times per week, at minimum [or other frequency dictated by the business].

The Role:

The Enterprise Data Analytics & Insights Customer & Product Identity team drives development of quality core enterprise assets that are the foundation for advanced analytical tools to help GM meet enterprise objectives. Projects support maximizing profit through data-driven decisions aligned with customer priorities. Specific focus areas include Customer & Product Identity data with experience in data discovery, data integration, data quality and governance.

To build our team, we seek individuals proficient in Product Management with a strong focus on data quality & validation. Product Management is responsible for developing, managing, and driving product initiatives across the organization. Key tasks include executing the product vision, roadmap, requirements, acceptance criteria and validation plans. This also includes working with cross-functional teams, conducting market research, and collaborating with other teams to ensure the successful launch of new products. The role requires strong analytical skills, communication ability, and a passion for delivering exceptional products that meet customer needs

What You'll Do:

  • Contribute to the definition of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap based on customer needs and market trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure product goals and priorities alignment.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market opportunities and potential threats.
  • Develop and manage product requirements, including user stories, use cases, and functional specifications.
  • Create and maintain product backlogs and prioritize features and enhancements based on business value, customer needs, and technical feasibility.
  • Work closely with UX/UI designers to develop intuitive and compelling user interfaces.
  • Define and track key metrics using OKRs and KPIs to measure product success and inform future decisions.
  • Communicate product updates, progress, and plans to stakeholders across the organization, including executives, customers, and partners.
  • Manage product launches, including developing go-to-market strategies and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.
  • Conduct post-launch analysis to evaluate product performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Continuously iterate and improve the product based on user feedback, market trends, and business goals.
  • Responsible for overseeing the strategy and execution of all component testing and end-to-end validation activities
  • Responsible for designing and overseeing the development of complex and automated testing requirements
  • Responsible for aligning testing to customer product release timelines inclusive of necessary mock data and services development

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications) :

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4-6 years' experience in all of the following:
    • Data analytics
    • Developing business plans
    • Project management
    • Stakeholder management
    • Process improvement
    • Working on cross functional initiatives
    • Negotiation skills

What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (​ Preferred Requirements):

  • Master's degree
  • Business operations experience
  • Marketing experience
