The Role:
This position will be responsible for Accessories Cross Brand Strategy development and execution and will work on improving Operational Efficiencies across the Accessories team.
In this role, the individual will assist in developing the annual Business Plan, collaborate cross-functionally to create and launch new processes, work on vehicle personalization product innovation and support the flawless operations of the Accessories team. Familiarity with the aftermarket accessories industry, product development processes, engineering, purchasing, marketing, and sales is preferred.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):
Cross Brand Strategy:
- Develop Cross Brand Strategies with customer-first mindset and gain key stakeholder alignment
- Support Accessory Innovation by gathering and analyzing available research data and develop actionable customer insights
- Lead Innovation Idea generation workshops, consolidate inputs from brainstorming sessions and help determining shortlisted ideas for execution
- Analyze vehicle accessory gaps, industry trends and well-known aftermarket brands to identify potential new products
- Develop Competitive Overviews for specific Accessory sub-segments and share findings cross functionally
- Support Annual Business Plan process by collaborating with Sales, eCommerce, Accessories Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering and Brand Marketing.
- Organize pre-PFI workshops to understand customer needs in vehicle personalization
- Monitor Accessory Financial Metric status and gather Cross Brand profitability insights by working with the Accessory Product Managers
- Support developing profitability improvement ideas
Operations:
- Help identifying operational frictions and establishing new processes to improve efficiency
- Support developing and launching new Accessory Forecasting Process
- Understand and document Accessory Processes and Job Procedures
- Document and communicate Accessory Wins and Headwinds
- Support analyzing IT system requirements prioritization for Accessories
- Help understanding Global Markets’ Accessory needs and provide support as needed
- Work on Special Projects

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Research Marketing, Product Marketing, Engineering and/or Sales in the Automotive industry
- Keen awareness and interest of customer needs and wants for personalization
- Understanding of competitor’s products, strengths, weaknesses and latest industry and customer trends
- Ability to balance customer, brand, competitor, market trends, government regulations, organizational resources/capability, and business case inputs to make informed recommendations
- Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles – written and oral
- Ability to concisely frame issues, draw conclusions, and make recommendations to leadership
- Ability to represent team as an informed, confident, and active participant in cross-functional forums
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and assignments on time and with attention to detail
- Flexibility & capability to work “global hours”
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree preferred
- Work experience in Product Development, Research, Program Management or Marketing
- Experience with Automotive Accessories/Feature planning preferred
