The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in one of GM CCA’s major transformation projects at the Davison Rd facility. The Command Center Analyst / General Supervisor will support implementation of a new ASRS and WMS environment and help prepare the facility for a successful launch.
This role will be heavily involved in pre-launch planning and execution, including helping define processes, supporting operational readiness activities, and preparing the building for cut-over and go-live. Following launch, this person will serve in a critical command center role responsible for managing daily material flow through the facility, monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and driving continuous improvement related to material flow and system functionality.
This individual will also be responsible for wave planning and shipping coordination and will become a subject matter expert for the facility in WMS and Exacta.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities):
- Support pre-launch activities for the Davison Rd ASRS and WMS implementation
- Help define, document, and refine processes required to prepare the facility for launch
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support cut-over planning, go-live readiness, and startup execution
- Serve as a key operational leader during cut-over and go-live activities
- Manage and monitor daily material flow through the building after launch
- Oversee wave planning and shipping execution to support outbound flow and service requirements
- Monitor system performance and material movement to identify issues, constraints, and risks
- Troubleshoot operational and system-related issues impacting flow, shipping, or inventory movement
- Drive continuous improvement activities focused on throughput, flow, system utilization, and process stability
- Develop deep expertise in WMS and Exacta to support the facility and broader team
- Act as a central point of coordination across operations, systems, and support teams to ensure smooth execution
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):
- Familiarity with WMS, Exacta, ASRS, or similar automated storage and fulfillment systems
- Strong operational leadership and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
- Experience supporting or leading material flow, shipping, warehouse, or distribution operations
- Experience with warehouse systems, inventory control, or automated material handling environments is strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics or equivalent experience
- Must be willing to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift as determined by business needs

- Ability to work cross-functionally and drive execution through ambiguity and change
- Demonstrated ability to identify issues, troubleshoot effectively, and implement process improvements
- Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple functions and levels of the organization
- High level of ownership, urgency, and accountability during critical launch and stabilization periods
- Data/Analytical capabilities such as SQL, Power BI is a plus
