Manufacturing – Production Worker – Temporary, Part Time
What We're Looking For:
- You prioritize a safe workplace for everyone and understand, support, and execute all work in a safe manner and contribute to a culture that promotes safety as its overriding priority.
- You thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing plant environment and learn new tasks and adapt to frequent job duty changes as required by business or manpower demands.
- You're obsessed with precision and top-notch quality work and can complete tasks within designated timeframes to meet operational expectations.
- Staying precise with tools, machinery, and equipment such as a tugger to load, unload, transfer and move materials within the assembly plant. This equipment could operate at heights of up to 35 feet.
- You’re able to read, comprehend, and follow written, standardized work instructions and trained procedures.
- Ready to grow, cooperate, and contribute to our dynamic team.
Physical Requirements:
- Quick response to safety instructions, alarms, and signals are a must
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods
- Comfortably wear personal protective equipment
- Navigate a busy environment
- Bend, twist, kneel, crouch, and reach
- May need to lift or carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs. depending on department
- Occasional sitting during certain tasks
- Drive mobile equipment when needed
Minimum Requirements:
- 18+ years old.
- Flexible shift availability.
- Availability to work a maximum of 32 hours per week.
- Must be able to satisfactorily complete the General Motors hiring process requirements which includes drug testing and a background check.
- Proficiency to listen, read, follow work and safety instructions.
