Sponsorship:  GM DOES NOT PROVIDE IMMIGRATION-RELATED SPONSORSHIP FOR THIS ROLE.  DO NOT APPLY FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU WILL NEED GM IMMIGRATION SPONSORSHIP (e.g., H-1B, TN, STEM OPT, etc.) NOW OR IN THE FUTURE.

Work Arrangement: This position is categorized as hybrid on NIGHT SHIFT, 8:00 PM to 5:00 PM PH. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the GM Philippines office three times per week (or other frequency) as dictated by the business.

The Role

The Systems Analyst performs hands-on analysis, configuration, testing, documentation, and operational support for dealership forms within the Digital Retail Platform (DRP). The role processes form requests, validates business and compliance requirements, configures digital forms and workflows, supports quality assurance and user acceptance testing, maintains operational reports, and assists with production releases and issue resolution.

The Systems Analyst works within established procedures and technical standards, collaborates with business, implementation, verification, engineering, quality assurance, and vendor partners, and escalates complex, unresolved, or approval-dependent issues to the appropriate senior analyst or business owner.

What You'll Do

  • Process dealership form submissions through D360 and approved intake channels; identify priority requests, Common and Non-Common forms, and restricted GM or dealer information before downstream processing.
  • Break bulk PDFs into individual forms, apply approved naming conventions, clean and format files, and remove or replace PII, confidential information, GM personal or secret information, and dealer-restricted information with approved generic test data.
  • Follow GM device, desktop, VDI, security, privacy, and handling requirements during form intake and processing.
  • Create and update Jira tickets, action items, dependencies, defect records, status updates, and supporting documentation for assigned work.
  • Review forms for completeness, current version, ownership, licensing, authorization, rights-to-use permissions, state or federal requirements, OEM, brand, program, and dealer-specific requirements.
  • Record supporting evidence for approvals, licensing, rights-to-use, and indemnification requirements; identify missing information and escalate unresolved questions to the appropriate business, legal, RIM, dealer, or GM contact.
  • Translate approved form and business-process requirements into configured digital forms, workflows, packages, mappings, and implementation-ready solutions using the DRP Form Configurator and, where applicable, the legacy Form Builder.
  • Perform pre-processing and validation in DRP pre-production, including form type, file and page size, printer type, category, annotations, retail or lease requirements, special-form requirements, licensing, and other approved form attributes.
  • Process State, Brand, Program, and form revisions and assigned custom-form requests in accordance with approved change procedures.
  • Execute quality-assurance checks using sample dealership forms and loan, lease, and cash scenarios; validate text, fonts, checkbox and field alignment, hidden fields, annotations, formulas, licensing information, indemnification records, and expected output.
  • Prepare test materials for user acceptance testing, document defects and expected results, coordinate retesting, and track implementation-team or dealer feedback and sign-off activities. Dealer UAT remains owned by the DRP Implementation team.
  • Support approved form migration to the appropriate production environment; verify production configuration, confirm that forms are live and accessible, and record post-go-live issues and feedback.
  • Build and maintain assigned operational reports, including stage-based status reports, dealer-specific approved or pending reports, non-compliance and pending-approval reports, engineering-readiness reports, dashboards, and related reporting assets using approved tools such as Power BI, Jira, and D360.
  • Assemble, cleanse, transform, validate, and reconcile operational data from approved sources; maintain data-quality checks, mappings, analytic datasets, and repeatable reporting inputs.
  • Investigate assigned data, configuration, and process issues; reproduce problems, document findings, propose practical resolutions, and escalate issues that require engineering, vendor, legal, or business-owner decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort, improve data quality, strengthen documentation, and make assigned processes more reliable and repeatable.
  • Maintain accurate process, data, workflow, mapping, control, audit, and support documentation for assigned activities.
  • Support approved access, environment onboarding, permissions, tool setup or validation, monitoring, troubleshooting, security, compliance, audit, and technical-readiness activities.
  • Participate in working sessions, status discussions, knowledge-sharing activities, and continuous improvement initiatives relevant to assigned work.
  • Follow GM security, compliance, governance, quality, privacy, and audit procedures and perform other related operational and technical duties as assigned.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, data analytics, mathematics, statistics, business, or a related field; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
  • Typically, 2–5 years of experience in systems analysis, application or form configuration, business-process support, data reporting, quality assurance, technical operations, or a related discipline.
  • Experience supporting digital forms, workflow-based applications, business-process configuration, quality assurance, user acceptance testing, releases, production implementations, or comparable operational technology programs.
  • Ability to review requirements, follow documented procedures, configure solutions accurately, and identify gaps or exceptions that require escalation.
  • Ability to gather, cleanse, transform, validate, and reconcile data from multiple sources for reporting, analysis, operational monitoring, and decision-making.
  • Experience creating or maintaining reports, dashboards, spreadsheets, analytic datasets, or other business-intelligence outputs using Power BI, Excel, Jira, or comparable tools.
  • Familiarity with data formats and integration concepts, including JSON, XML, CSV, schema definitions, validation rules, source-to-target mapping, APIs, and scheduled file exchange.
  • Basic working knowledge of SQL, Python, Power Query, or comparable data-processing and automation tools is preferred.
  • Ability to perform structured testing, document defects clearly, compare expected and actual results, and support timely retesting and resolution.
  • Ability to translate business and technical information into clear tickets, procedures, test evidence, status updates, and support documentation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, collaboration, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple assigned priorities and deliver accurate work within defined timelines.
  • Willingness to work with business, technical, implementation, quality assurance, and vendor partners and to escalate issues through established channels.
  • Willingness to work on night shift (8:00 PM to 5:00 PM PH).

What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Working knowledge of the DRP Forms operating environment, including D360, GM TAP, Jira, Adobe Pro, DRP pre-production and production environments, the DRP Form Configurator, legacy Form Builder, Postman, FileZilla, and Power BI.
  • Experience with Common and Non-Common forms, state, federal, OEM, brand, or program form requirements, rights-to-use validation, licensing, dealer approvals, and indemnification controls.
  • Experience with operational reporting, data-quality checks, workflow documentation, process mapping, or automation of repetitive activities.
  • Familiarity with relational or non-relational databases, ETL or ELT concepts, data pipelines, data modeling, metadata, or data lineage.
  • Practical exposure to artificial intelligence or generative AI tools for research, analysis, troubleshooting, automation, documentation, or workflow improvement, with awareness of data privacy, security, output validation, and human oversight.
