描述

At General Motors, our product teams are redefining mobility. Through a human-centered design process, we create vehicles and experiences that are designed not just to be seen, but to be felt. We’re turning today’s impossible into tomorrow’s standard —from breakthrough hardware and battery systems to intuitive design, intelligent software, and next-generation safety and entertainment features.

Every day, our products move millions of people as we aim to make driving safer, smarter, and more connected, shaping the future of transportation on a global scale.

Company Vehicle: Upon successful completion of a motor vehicle report review, you will be eligible to participate in a company vehicle evaluation program, through which you will be assigned a General Motors vehicle to drive and evaluate. Note: program participants are required to purchase/lease a qualifying GM vehicle every four years unless one of a limited number of exceptions applies.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Lead Integration Engineer to support the development of next-generation, industry-leading Body and Chassis Structures. This role is critical to advancing our product portfolio through the integration of new features, advanced materials, and innovative technologies across engineering subsystems.

The successful candidate will lead all aspects of product development, including requirement definition, design execution, validation, and testing throughout the full vehicle lifecycle. This position requires strong technical leadership to guide and coordinate cross-functional teams while collaborating closely with design, purchasing, manufacturing, and quality organizations.

In this role, you will lead product development and integration activities for Body and Chassis Structures by applying engineering tools, processes, and best practices to meet program objectives. You will also provide technical leadership in concept development and load path optimization, mentoring engineers and designers to deliver robust, high-performing solutions.

This position requires a high degree of creativity, strategic thinking, and problem-solving ability to address complex engineering challenges. You will evaluate and advocate for innovative approaches to improve product quality and contribute to long-term engineering strategies and policies.

The ideal candidate is committed to deepening their technical expertise, excels in communication and project management, and demonstrates a strong passion for tackling complex challenges and delivering effective solutions.

At General Motors, we are committed to supporting your career growth and development. This role provides opportunities to build a strong professional network and expand your leadership capabilities.
