  • Develop and manage requirements and typical sections using Unigraphics math data; partner with Studio to develop surfaces that meet functional and appearance requirements.
  • Develop innovative solutions for new technologies involving EV and autonomous vehicles, active safety, and lit elements.
  • Ensure in-house designs are completed on time with quality and meet all program milestones and deliverables.
  • Perform design studies and alternatives, prepare business cases, and present recommendations to enable efficient program decision-making.
  • Support design and technical reviews to ensure design fidelity and application of best practices.
  • Create and maintain Interface Control Document (ICD) requirements for component and subsystem interfaces; align with interfacing component owners.
  • Support launch by partnering with assembly plants and cross-functional teams to rapidly identify, contain, and resolve issues.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.

  • Strong physics-based, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • DFSS Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
  • Familiarity with Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
