설명
Global Manufacturing Electrical & SDV is looking for innovators who thrive in tough challenges and are passionate about tackling meaningful work that will shape the future of the automotive industry. This role sits at the intersection of manufacturing, electrical systems, and vehicle quality, helping ensure vehicles are built right the first time through the development and deployment of advanced manufacturing test systems.
If you enjoy solving complex technical challenges, working across engineering and manufacturing teams, and driving quality improvements at scale, we'd love to hear from you.
This Role Is Ideal For
Engineers with experience in manufacturing test systems, electrical hardware, automation, or vehicle diagnostics who enjoy developing technical solutions, supporting plant operations, and improving vehicle quality through robust manufacturing processes.
WHY
Ensure vehicles are built right the first time by developing and deploying electrical test systems that improve defect detection, strengthen manufacturing quality, and support Electrical First Time Quality (EFTQ) across GM's global manufacturing network.
WHAT
As an Electrical Test Systems Engineer, you will lead the development, integration, and deployment of manufacturing test equipment used to validate vehicle electrical systems and components. You will work across engineering, suppliers, and plant teams to ensure test systems are reliable, scalable, and capable of supporting current and future vehicle architectures.
HOW
Partner with manufacturing plants, suppliers, product engineering, and quality organizations to develop test solutions, resolve technical issues, and implement systems that improve quality, throughput, and manufacturing readiness.
Work Arrangement – Onsite
The successful candidate is expected to report to the Warren Tech Center on a full-time basis. This role requires up to 50% domestic and international travel.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
