Troubleshoot hardware issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement robust, long-term solutions across ECUs and associated connectivity hardware.
-
Conduct design reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality, manufacturable designs that meet performance, safety, and reliability targets.
-
Develop hardware requirements and test specifications for SerDes/Ethernet connectivity and supporting circuitry.
-
Develop a clear test strategy covering all aspects of development, from component and board-level validation through system integration and production readiness.
-
Lead bench test execution throughout the development lifecycle, including bring-up, characterization, and debug of prototype and production-intent hardware.
-
Establish domain expertise for semiconductors and ECU product lines within your scope of responsibility, with focus on wired connectivity technology (SerDes and Ethernet PHYs, switches, and related components).
-
Manage technology roadmaps in close collaboration with industry leaders and semiconductor partners to ensure GM’s network hardware solutions remain on the forefront of performance, cost, and scalability.
