The Role
As the Quality Systems Execution Lead, you will lead engineers responsible for executing quality systems projects that improve manufacturing measurement capability, product quality, launch readiness, and operational performance across Body and General Assembly operations.
You will translate approved strategies and project objectives into clear execution plans, guide technical teams through design and deployment, and provide day-to-day leadership for project delivery. The role requires strong people leadership, technical judgment, supplier and plant coordination, and the ability to drive results in complex, cross-functional manufacturing environments.
You will partner with the Global Quality Center leadership to execute the quality systems roadmap, develop team capability, manage assigned project priorities, and ensure solutions are delivered safely, on schedule, within approved resources, and ready for sustained plant operation.

- Establish clear performance expectations, provide timely feedback, recognize contributions, and address performance or capability gaps.
- Support individual development plans, technical growth, career progression, succession planning, and workforce capability development.
- Build an inclusive, collaborative, and accountable team culture focused on engineering excellence and customer outcomes.
- Allocate team resources across assigned projects and adjust priorities as business and launch needs change.
- Support recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and talent reviews in partnership with the Engineering Group Manager.
Project and Execution Leadership
- Lead execution of assigned quality systems projects from requirements definition through design, procurement, integration, installation, commissioning, validation, and production handoff.
- Develop and manage project plans, milestones, deliverables, resource requirements, risks, and issue-resolution actions.
- Translate manufacturing and quality requirements into Statements of Requirements, technical specifications, acceptance criteria, and executable work packages.
- Coordinate technical reviews with internal engineering teams, plant operations, program teams, strategic suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor project health and communicate status, risks, decisions, resource needs, and recovery plans to the project stakeholders.
- Ensure project deliverables support launch timing, operational readiness, quality requirements, safety expectations, and long-term maintainability.
- Drive timely resolution of technical, supplier, installation, commissioning, and plant-readiness issues.
- Lead structured handoff to plant and operational teams, including training, documentation, support model, maintenance requirements, and performance monitoring.
- Identify opportunities to reuse proven solutions and improve consistency across projects and manufacturing locations.
- Build effective working relationships with strategic suppliers and hold them accountable for technical performance, quality, schedule, documentation, and supportability.
- Represent the Execution organization in project reviews and working-level governance forums.
