- Partner with the ME Body Quality Team, BIW/GA Manufacturing Engineers, Commodity Integration Sources, Vehicle Systems Engineers, Launch Execution Teams, and Plant Dimensional personnel to deliver measurement solutions.
- Develop detailed zone processes, conversion timing, and cost estimates for new and existing programs while ensuring deliverables meet program timing.
- Develop Statements of Requirements (SORs) for sourced measurement, tooling, and automation equipment systems and manage suppliers and integrators through delivery.
- Define dimensional measurement strategies with VDQM, Body and GA Quality Leads, and Plant Dimensional personnel.
- Manage system development through concept, processing, tool design, construction, integration, installation, and dimensional validation in an assembly plant or metal center.
- Deliver a tuned-in body in accordance with Manufacturing Validation requirements, including MV-1 and PED114, and incorporate lessons learned and continuous improvements into standards, procedures, processes, and tool designs.
