Join General Motors, as we proudly produce a variety of components and systems including radiators, condensers, oil coolers, HVAC modules, evaporators and more for GM powertrain vehicles! Our Production Team Members are hardworking and ambitious workers who are responsible for assembly, machining, quality checks, tool changes, and problem solving of manufacturing processes and equipment.
What We're Looking For:

You're obsessed with precision and top-notch quality work and can complete tasks within designated timeframes to meet operational expectations.

Keeping organized and participating in ongoing inventory control activities including cycle counting, inventory management and analysis.

Staying precise with tools, machinery, and equipment such as a tugger to load, unload, transfer and move materials within the assembly plant. This equipment could operate at heights of up to 35 feet.

You’re able to read, comprehend, and follow written, standardized work instructions and trained procedures.

Physical Requirements:

Quick response to safety instructions, alarms, and signals are a must.

Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.

Comfortably wear personal protective equipment.

Navigate a busy environment.

Bend, twist, kneel, crouch, and reach.
-
May need to lift or carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs. depending on department.

Occasional sitting during certain tasks.

Drive mobile equipment when needed.
Minimum Requirements:
-
18+ years old.
-
Flexible shift availability.
-
Must be able to satisfactorily complete the General Motors hiring process requirements which includes drug testing and a background check.

Proficiency to listen, read, follow work and safety instructions.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Experience working in auto manufacturing
-
Experience working in manufacturing or warehouse environment
-
Experience identifying and reporting quality defects
-
Experience operating mobile equipment or using specialized tools such as forklifts, pallet jacks, torque guns, hoists, or industrial vehicles

Competitive Pay: $21.00 per hour.

Shift Premiums: Because this role will require 100% shift flexibility, we will provide shift premiums for those who embrace the challenge during unconventional hours = 5% shift premium for 2nd shift and 10% for 3rd shift.
