GM is seeking an experienced Product Manager to support GM’s workplace transformation from Microsoft 365 (M365) to Google Workspace. This role is dedicated to becoming the trusted product expert and adoption champion for Google Workspace, helping employees and business leaders understand how Google Workspace products, capabilities, and ways of working can improve collaboration, productivity, and business outcomes.
This role will work closely with engineering, product vendors, Change Management, Enablement, and business stakeholders to support the transition at enterprise scale. A critical part of this role is building and delivering clear, compelling presentations, demonstrations, and practical guidance on Google Workspace products for the whole enterprise and tailored to the needs of specific business units, functions, roles, and levels of technical familiarity.

Own and communicate the Google Workspace product vision, strategy, roadmap, and adoption priorities supporting GM’s M365-to-Google Workspace transformation.

Serve as the trusted Google Workspace product expert, spokesperson, and adoption champion, maintaining deep knowledge of capabilities, workflows, integrations, migration considerations, recommended usage, and business value.

Gather and analyze business and user needs, collaboration practices, readiness data, and feedback to identify barriers and translate insights into requirements, adoption recommendations, and improvements.

Partner with engineering, design, support, Google and other SaaS providers, Change Management, Enablement, and business stakeholders to align product goals, migration priorities, rollout plans, and business-unit readiness.

Build and deliver engaging presentations, demonstrations, and enablement sessions on Google Workspace products, use cases, and business value for enterprise-wide audiences and specific business units.

Support migration readiness, go-to-market, launch, and rollout activities by aligning business requirements, stakeholder expectations, training and communications, recommended usage patterns, and enterprise priorities.

Communicate product updates, migration progress, roadmap direction, adoption priorities, and enhancement plans, tailoring messages to leaders, partners, business-unit representatives, and impacted user groups.

Create a continuous feedback loop with users and business units to inform backlog priorities, product enhancements, process and usage improvements, and future decisions that increase adoption and business value.

Define and monitor success measures such as OKRs, KPIs, migration and adoption signals, stakeholder feedback, enablement reach, and usage trends, while leading cross-functional efforts with strong ownership and follow-through.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

Bachelor’s degree required; technical discipline preferred, or equivalent experience.

7+ years of experience in product management, SaaS solutions, enterprise technology, workplace transformation, adoption, enablement, or related fields.

Experience gathering business and user needs and translating them into user stories, use cases, requirements, and product recommendations.

Experience contributing to roadmaps, backlog priorities, feature planning, or enhancement decisions with engineering and cross-functional teams.

Proven ability to present product capabilities, demonstrations, migration impacts, and business value to large, varied audiences.

Strong stakeholder management across business, IT, vendors, design, support, and engineering teams.

Familiarity with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, enterprise collaboration tools, productivity platforms, SaaS solutions, and enterprise technology practices.

Experience supporting large-scale workplace transformation and driving adoption in an enterprise environment.

Dynamic, engaging presentation style with the ability to simplify complex concepts for business users.

Through enterprise-wide and business-unit-specific presentations, demonstrations, communications, and feedback loops, this role helps the organization understand Google Workspace capabilities, adopt recommended ways of working, overcome barriers, and realize measurable value from the transformation.
Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Warren (MI), Austin (TX), or Mountain View (CA) three times per week, at minimum.
Compensation: The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The compensation may not be representative for positions located outside of the California Bay Area.

The salary range for this role is $106,600 to $192,700. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
