Validate investment populations, security classifications, prices, maturity dates, cash flows, purchases, sales, paydowns, and unsettled transactions; investigate and resolve variances with the appropriate Treasury partners.
-
Prepare, review, and support manual journal entries and accounting corrections for marketable securities and related Treasury activity in accordance with GM accounting policies and internal controls.
-
Perform account reconciliations and maintain complete, review-ready support in the Company’s reconciliation and control-documentation tools.

-
Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate reconciliations, reporting, exception management, and supporting documentation.
-
Develop and maintain procedures, workpapers, analytical tools, and process documentation that improve transparency, scalability, and continuity within Treasury Accounting.
