The Role:

The Assistant Program Manager – Infantry Squad Vehicle (ISV) Program Development supports the planning, coordination, and day-to-day execution of ISV program activities across contracts, engineering, manufacturing, and sustainment. This role is responsible for developing and managing the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) as a contract deliverable, creating and tracking risks and opportunities tied to materiel, manufacturing, and process costs, supporting execution of the Program Content Change Request (PCCR) process, and submitting contract deliverables to customers.

This position helps ensure data accuracy, schedule integrity, and disciplined program execution in support of the Program Manager and the broader ISV leadership team.

What You’ll Do:

Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) Management

  • Develop, maintain, and baseline the Integrated Master Schedule for assigned ISV contracts and work directives in alignment with contractual requirements and internal standards
  • Break down contract scope into logically linked tasks, milestones, and dependencies, ensuring alignment with the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and cost charging structures
  • Perform regular schedule status updates, including progress, dates, and logic, and validate inputs from functional owners to ensure the IMS reflects current plans and approved changes
  • Prepare IMS deliverables and schedule reports for customer submittals, internal reviews, and senior leadership briefings

Risk and Opportunity Management

  • Coordinate identification, documentation, and tracking of risks and opportunities related to materiel, manufacturing, and process costs across the ISV portfolio
  • Facilitate working sessions with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, and IPS to capture new items, assess impact and likelihood, and define mitigation or exploitation actions
  • Maintain the risk and opportunity register with clear ownership, due dates, and status updates
  • Support regular risk and opportunity reviews and reporting to ISV leadership and customers
  • Link risks and opportunities to IMS activities and cost elements so impacts are visible in both schedule and financial performance views

Program Content Change Request (PCCR) Support

  • Support end-to-end execution of the PCCR process for ISV Integration, from intake and scoping through approval and implementation
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Contracts, Finance, Manufacturing, and IPS to gather requirements, technical content, and cost and schedule impacts needed to evaluate each PCCR
  • Ensure approved PCCR decisions are reflected in the IMS, risk and opportunity register, cost structures, and other affected program artifacts
  • Maintain PCCR logs, status dashboards, and supporting documentation to provide a clear audit trail and timely stakeholder communication

Program Integration and Reporting

  • Assist the Program Manager in preparing and maintaining dashboards, one-pagers, and recurring reports that connect scope, schedule, risk, and cost across the ISV portfolio
  • Coordinate inputs for internal and external reviews, including Army Program Management Reviews, technical reviews, and internal operating reviews related to schedule, risk and opportunity status, and change content
  • Support compilation, coordination, quality checks, and on-time submission of contract deliverables to customers, including required schedule, reporting, and supporting data packages
  • Help drive consistency of data and messaging across CDRLs, IMS deliverables, risk reports, PCCR documentation, and customer-facing contract deliverables

Process Discipline and Continuous Improvement

  • Execute and help refine standard operating procedures for IMS maintenance, risk and opportunity management, and PCCR handling within the ISV Integration team
  • Identify recurring issues, data quality gaps, and process inefficiencies, and support implementation of improvements such as templates, checklists, simple automation, and tool enhancements
  • Support training and onboarding of new team members on schedule, risk, and PCCR processes and tools
