Job Description

Global Manufacturing Electrical & SDV is looking for innovators who thrive in tough challenges and are passionate about tackling meaningful work that will shape the future of the automotive industry. This isn’t a role for those looking for an easy path—it’s for those who embrace change, push through obstacles, and take ownership of complex problems. While there will be long days and moments that test your resilience, you’ll find purpose in your work, flexibility to prioritize your family, and the support of a people-first culture. If you’re ready to grow, thrive, and make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you.

WHY: The purpose of this role is to accelerate AI adoption across manufacturing by engaging plant leadership and plant floor teams in practical, high-value uses of Glean and AI that improve how work gets done. This role supports our broader mission by helping sites build capability, remove barriers to adoption, and create more connected, informed, and efficient operations that ultimately deliver better outcomes for our customers.

WHAT: As an AI engagement lead, you will drive adoption and engagement of Glean and AI across manufacturing sites by partnering with plant teams, supporting Glean office hours and moderators, answering AI-related questions, and translating operational needs into practical solutions that improve how work gets done.

HOW: Supporting the plants to make it happen for our customers.

Work Arrangement - Onsite

The successful candidate is expected to report to the Warren Tech Center on a full-time basis. This role requires up to 40% domestic and international travel.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):

  • Champion AI adoption across manufacturing sites by energizing plant leadership and plant floor teams around practical, high-impact uses of Glean and AI that improve daily work.
  • Serve as a trusted partner to site teams by translating business needs and operational challenges into meaningful AI engagement opportunities, while providing clear guidance and support for Glean and AI-related questions.
  • Drive awareness, excitement, and sustained engagement through site-facing communications, demos, workshops, and adoption activities that bring AI capabilities to life for manufacturing audiences.
  • Partner with manufacturing sites to identify adoption barriers, gather feedback from plant floor users, and turn insights into actions that strengthen engagement and accelerate value realization.
  • Foster a forward-thinking work culture that embraces change and navigates future organizational and industry challenges.
  • Build and nurture strategic relationships across various functions including software, manufacturing, and program management to synergize efforts towards future innovations.

Your Skills and Abilities (Required Qualifications):

  • Strong communication and engagement skills, with the ability to connect with plant leadership, plant floor teams, and cross-functional partners in a way that builds trust, excitement, and adoption.
  • Knowledge of AI capabilities, with the ability to explain concepts clearly, answer questions, and translate technical capabilities into practical manufacturing use cases.
  • Change management and adoption experience, including the ability to drive awareness, influence behaviors, and sustain engagement across multiple sites and stakeholder groups.
  • Relationship-building and collaboration skills to partner effectively with site teams, moderators, leaders, and functional stakeholders to align on needs, remove barriers, and scale best practices.
  • Organizational and program coordination skills to manage multiple site requests, support activities, follow-ups, and engagement efforts in a structured and responsive way.
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and a continuous learning mindset to stay current on evolving AI tools, understand plant needs, and adjust engagement strategies as adoption matures.

What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications):

  • 2+ years of Manufacturing Experience
  • Experience with Power BI and reporting, including the ability to analyze adoption trends, develop meaningful dashboards, and turn data into actionable insights that support engagement strategies across manufacturing sites.
  • Hands-on experience with Glean, including supporting end users, leading office hours, enabling moderators, and driving adoption through practical, business-focused use cases.
  • Experience developing or supporting AI tools, copilots, prompts, workflows, or other AI-enabled solutions that improve team effectiveness and solve real business problems.
  • Ability to connect reporting, user insights, and AI capabilities to identify opportunities, measure impact, and continuously improve engagement across plant and site teams.
