The Role
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer/Program Manager to lead on going and launching products and programs.
This role will be part of the combined Program Management / Product Launch Team. This role may consist of launch or program management work.
The advanced career level Manufacturing Program Manager, able to work autonomously with occasional guidance from supervision. Skilled in sequence and flow of operations for the effective utilization of personnel, material, machines and facilities necessary for the production of parts. Strong organizational skills and leading results through influence. Work is performed in a centralized manufacturing plant where creativity and initiative is exercised as well as independent judgement.
What You'll Do
- Individual contributor who will lead through influence
- Lead, organize, follow, and ensure results for product changes throughout the lifecycle of the product
- Deliver launch milestones in accordance with Program Timing
- Drive Launch & Program level quality
- Ownership of respective product change review board & corresponding change leader duties (use of GM GMCH Teamcenter software)
- Coordinate all associated launch activities for respective programs following APQP, MQRR, and other GM specific launch processes.
- Ensure all launching and current products are complaint with GMS (GM Global Manufacturing System)
- Utilize advanced problem solving and continuous improvement tools to reduce cost (RedX, OpEx, etc.)
- Support the development and implementation of manufacturing processes, procedures, and documentation to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with multiple teams across the organization, in-person & virtually, to ensure manufacturability of new products and components.
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree or 4+ years equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding and practical experience with various machining and assembly processes.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot

- Led capital equipment build projects with OEM partners while meeting schedule and budget targets.
- Proven experience in interpreting and utilizing blueprints and machine schematics.
- Ability to Addresses and evaluate a diverse range of issues using innovative methods and proposing alternative approaches.
Compensation:

The expected base compensation for this role is: $105,600 - $140,700. Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.

Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
