The Role:
The Marketing Applied Sciences team is responsible for developing analytics-driven solutions to help GM Organizations achieve their business goals.
As the Senior Strategist – CRM Analytics & Insights, this individual will lead the delivery CRM Analytics and Insights for the GM Vehicle Brands (Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac) and Corporate Brands, helping them quantify the impact of our CRM and providing recommendations for optimization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CRM, digital analytics, and marketing technology, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable marketing strategies across our iconic brands and integrate CRM analytics into cross-channel experiences.
This person will work cross-functionally and collaboratively to provide actionable CRM reporting and insights to the enterprise business marketing teams in the form of automated reports, deep dive analysis, customer profile analysis, closed loop reporting. The team is focused on delivering future-focused, internally managed CRM reporting for our marketing teams.
What You'll Do:

Lead the delivery CRM Analytics and Insights for the GM Vehicle Brands (Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac) and corporate brands, helping them quantify the impact of CRM and providing recommendations for optimization.

CRM analysis & optimization: Analyze CRM influence on lifecycle engagement, retention, and conversion of key funnel activities

Identify opportunities for improvement; monitor ongoing campaign performance identify optimization opportunities.

Elevate CRM findings to a strategic, consultative, and actionable level. Convey complex stories to internal stakeholders in a strategic way that can be translated into measurable actions.

Build and manage relationships with cross functional stakeholders to identify and prioritize key marketing and media questions.

Oversee and assist in developing brand strategists, reviewing stakeholder deliverables and providing feedback.

Help businesses establish measurement goals and chart a route to activate those goals.

Partner with data scientists to ensure data quality and accuracy.

Understanding of how to mesh multiple data sources (CRM, Site, and offline actions) for to design actionable reporting and insights

Collaborate with Marketing Technology teams on data ingestion requirements, availability, feeding detailed requirements, ideating, and innovating
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):
-
6+ years of experience in Owned Media, Web, CRM, and/or Customer Lifecycle Analytics

Deep understanding of and experience with CRM reporting and measurement frameworks

Ability to integrate data and findings from a variety of data sources and present a holistic view of a position

Project management duties including project plans, timelines, ad-hoc requests, and managing the implementation of new analytics capabilities for the team

Advanced-level understanding of email service providers and associated optimization & analytical tools

Strong understanding of Marketing Automation platforms and CRM systems

Deep Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI), analysis tools (Excel, Databricks, Snowflake etc.), data querying (SQL, Python, R, etc.) and Marketing Analytics platform suites: i.e. Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Consumer Journey Analytics etc.

Experience with statistical methods, and experimentation techniques.

Experience developing structured and logical frameworks to define the problem, analyze the data, and derive insights and actionable recommendations.

Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills; fluency interfacing with both technical and management teams. Ability to make complex concepts and analytics understandable and actionable.

Demonstrated ability to work proactively and independently while guiding strategy and collaborating with stakeholders
Education:
-
Master’s or MBA degree in Analytics/Data Science, Econometrics, Statistics, Psychometrics, (Bio)Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, or another quantitative field. preferred, but not required.
