The Role
Are you an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in supply chain, warehousing, and logistics technology? Do you thrive at the intersection of business operations, automation, and data-driven decision-making? We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to support and enhance our Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Automated Mobile Robots (AMRs), and Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS).

In this role, you will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams, translating operational needs into clear system requirements and actionable insights. You will play a critical role in optimizing warehouse processes, supporting automation initiatives, and enabling scalable, reliable operations across highly automated distribution environments.
What You'll Do:

  • Partner with warehouse operations, supply chain, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and data-driven insights.
  • Elicit, document, and prioritize business, system, and integration requirements related to WMS, AMRs, AS/RS, and supporting platforms.
  • Lead requirements gathering and facilitation sessions, asking probing questions to understand end-to-end business processes and capture current- and future-state process flows.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the business community and IT teams, including development, quality assurance, infrastructure, and vendors.
  • Support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of warehouse automation solutions, ensuring alignment with operational goals.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics; partner with analytics teams to design reports and dashboards that drive visibility and decision-making.
  • Lead and contribute to cross-functional projects by managing scope, timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
  • Assist the business with incident and problem management related to warehouse systems; lead root-cause analysis and planning efforts to reduce recurring issues.
  • Stay current on emerging trends in warehouse automation, robotics, and supply chain technology, bringing forward recommendations and best practices.
  • Mentor and support other business analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement.

Your Skills and Abilities (Required Qualifications) :

  • Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Product Owner within supply chain, warehousing, or logistics environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems and familiarity with warehouse automation technologies, including Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) and AS/RS.
  • Proven ability to translate complex operational processes into clear functional and technical requirements.
  • Experience working in highly automated or high-volume distribution environments.
  • Proficiency with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel) and experience consuming BI and reporting platforms such as Cognos, Jira, Power BI, or similar tools.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to work effectively across business, IT, and vendor teams.
  • Highly collaborative mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.

What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Masters Degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience with Infor Warehouse Management or comparable WMS platforms.
  • Proven experience leading and owning small to medium scale supply chain projects with 10+ project team members.
  • Exposure to industry leading supply chain technologies and digital warehouse transformation initiatives.
