This role is part of the ADAS Motion Estimation Software team, developing production software for advanced driver assistance systems. Focus areas include implementation, testing, and integration of motion estimation functions.
- Design, implement, and integrate ADAS software solutions, with a focus on vehicle motion estimation and related state estimation functions within production ECUs
- Develop and maintain code in C and Simulink, following automotive software best practices, coding standards, and configuration management processes
- Analyze and improve reliability, performance, and efficiency of motion estimation algorithms and embedded implementations, including profiling, optimization, and robustness improvements
- Create and maintain technical documentation, such as design specifications, interface definitions, test plans, and release notes to support cross-functional teams
- Perform unit testing and support in-vehicle testing, including test case development, issue triage, data analysis, and collaboration with validation and vehicle integration teams.
Required Qualifications :
- Experience in the state estimation domain, ideally with vehicle motion estimation, sensor fusion, or related control/estimation algorithms
- Embedded software experience/knowledge, including developing, debugging, and optimizing code on resource-constrained targets.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Bachelors, Master or PhD degree in Computer Science or Engineering (Electrical, Computer, Mechatronics, System Design, Mechanical, Chemical or equivalent)
- Software Product Line experience/knowledge, such as working with configurable architectures, reusable components, and feature variability management
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both engineering and non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to break down complex issues, prioritize effectively, and drive them to resolution.
Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $90,900 to $136,400. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
