The Motorsports Operations & Procurement Analyst plays a critical role in supporting program execution through a combination of procurement support, ERP (JobBOSS²) system ownership, and cross-functional operational problem solving.
This position goes beyond transactional support by identifying gaps in workflows, resolving operational inefficiencies, and improving data integrity across procurement, inventory, and shop floor systems. The role partners closely with engineering, supply chain, supplier quality, and manufacturing teams to proactively address issues that impact material flow, cost, and program timing.
This is a high-visibility role with exposure to motorsports program execution and opportunities to lead continuous improvement initiatives across supplier management, logistics, and inventory processes.
What You’ll Do
Procurement & Supplier Operations

Support purchase order and requisition activities, ensuring alignment with program timing and requirements

Monitor supplier performance (delivery, responsiveness, data accuracy) and proactively identify risks or disruptions

Resolve procurement-related issues (delivery delays, invoice discrepancies, incomplete data) through structured problem-solving

Support sourcing activities by coordinating quotes, benchmarking inputs, and maintaining supplier documentation
ERP (JobBOSS²) Ownership & Data Integrity

Own daily operational execution within JobBOSS², ensuring accurate job setup, material tracking, and system updates

Identify and resolve data integrity issues across jobs, BOMs, inventory, and supplier records

Analyze system usage patterns and recommend workflow improvements to enhance efficiency and usability

Act as a first-line problem solver for system-related issues impacting shop floor and business operations
Inventory, Logistics & Material Flow

Analyze inventory trends, material availability, and transaction accuracy to identify discrepancies and risks

Support cycle count programs and implement corrective actions to improve inventory accuracy

Coordinate material movement and staging to ensure alignment with production schedules

Identify and resolve bottlenecks in material flow across internal operations and supplier network
Supplier Quality & Operational Problem Solving

Support supplier quality processes including issue tracking, documentation, and corrective action follow-ups

Partner with engineering and quality teams to address supplier-related non-conformances and process gaps

Investigate root causes of recurring issues across procurement, inventory, or logistics workflows

Apply structured problem-solving (e.g., 5 Whys, A3 thinking) to drive sustainable solutions
Continuous Improvement & Ad Hoc Projects

Lead or support cross-functional initiatives to improve procurement workflows, ERP utilization, and operational execution

Identify opportunities to standardize processes, reduce variability, and improve data-driven decision making

Contribute to digital transformation efforts (e.g., traceability, QR workflows, reporting enhancements)

Take ownership of special projects supporting program execution, cost management, and operational efficiency
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications )

2–5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, manufacturing operations, or ERP support

Experience working in a cross-functional environment with engineering, quality, or shop operations

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret operational data
What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)

Experience in motorsports, low-volume manufacturing, or high-performance engineering environments

Familiarity with ERP systems (JobBOSS², SAP, or equivalent)

Understanding of inventory control, supplier management, and procurement processes

Experience supporting or leading continuous improvement initiatives

Exposure to structured problem-solving methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, A3, root cause analysis)
