Work Arrangement: This position is categorized as hybrid on NIGHSHIFT . This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the office three times per week (or other frequency) as dictated by the business.
The Role
The Business Services Senior Analyst is responsible for end-to-end design ownership, business integration, prioritization, stakeholder alignment, program change control, and issue escalation for the CVI insourcing model to support OnStar. This role is intended to lead the transition phase and sustain after stabilization.
What You’ll Do

Own end-to-end design of the insourced process and operating model.

Lead business integration and ensure alignment across stakeholders.
-
Set priorities, manage backlog direction, and govern program change control.
-
Escalate and resolve issues affecting transition, cutover, or steady-state delivery.
-
Partner with the Business Support Analyst to map existing work, document business rules, archive deliverables, and prioritize transition activities.

Support development of mirrored US and CAN outputs together with the Data / ETL / Reporting Developer.

Define controls with QA / Control analyst ensuring accurate data governance
-
Manage and oversee various projects, including defining project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met and deliverables are achieved.

Work closely with business stakeholders to elicit and document requirements, ensuring clear understanding and alignment between business needs and IT solutions.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and provide recommendations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Analyze existing workflows and systems and propose innovative solutions to streamline operations.

Create comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, user guides, and training materials. Ensure documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible to stakeholders.

Work closely with Business Services Analyst on the following:

Map current work and document end-to-end business rules.
-
Inventory source systems and record data sources that support the process.
-
Identify internal GM sources for manifests, orders, delivery records, packages or Zuora, payments, and OVI claims.

Archive deliverables, parameters, and supporting process documentation for transition use.
-
Prioritize work items and support backlog management for insourcing activities.

Data Integration: Combine all data streams into a central Power BI environment

Data Modeling & Cleansing: Create consistent, validated data models for tracking operational KPIs, and customer metrics and program forecasting.

Dashboard Development: Design interactive Power BI dashboards for operational tracking/metrics, and leadership executive summary.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
-
5+ Years in Data Analytics / Data Science or related field
-
Bachelor’s degree in a Data Science/Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Sales, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or a related field

Data Visualization - Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI – building dashboards, data models, and DAX measures.

Background in Databricks, SQL, Python, Power BI, is a plus
-
Reporting Automation - Ability to automate refresh schedules, pipelines, and alerts for Power BI reports. Experience with Power Automate and API integrations a plus

Statistical & Analytical Skills - Strong understanding of KPIs, variance analysis, forecasting, and trend detection. Predictive modeling and demand forecasting a plus

Strong requirements gathering and process documentation skills

Ability to analyze source systems, data dependencies, and business rules

Strong organizational skills for knowledge capture and documentation control

Good communication skills for working with business and technical teams

Ability to convert operational knowledge into structured requirements

Experience in product ownership, operations leadership, program transition, or process governance

Experience working with reporting, compliance, or data-driven business processes

Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as excellent communication skills, verbal and written

Proven proficiency in analytical tools such as PBI, Power Automate and KNIME
