Work Arrangement : This role is categorized as hybrid. The successful candidate is expected to report to the GM Philippines office three to four times per week or at a frequency dictated by the business.
The Role
The role will lead GM People Operations team in Asia and Middle East, acting as the local SME for Employee Journeys, embedding local-specific requirements into global standards and ensuring high-quality, timely, and compliant HR services, and optimize key people processes and knowledge governance using process-driven methodologies, AI-enabled solutions, and data analytics to streamline and standardize workflows.
What You'll Do

Act as local SME for Employee Journeys, ensuring local requirements are embedded in global standards. Ensure accuracy of the knowledge base and solid Knowledge Governance Model.

Mapping and optimization of key journeys (onboarding, offboarding, leaves & life events, immigration and Local specific processes). Apply Process-Driven Application methodologies to streamline and standardize workflows for efficiency and consistency.

Drive simplification, efficiencies and continuous improvements in processes and operational cadences.

Manage Projects, from conceptualization and planning to execution and post-implementation review.

Enable AI‑driven service delivery by supporting the implementation of advanced technology solutions in the countries.

Proactive in identify downstream impacts to project & change management plans, to mitigate risk and enable smooth implementation across audience segments.

Develop and present insights and reports using Data analytics, demonstrating business acumen by connecting HR data to business outcomes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into effective People Operations solutions.

Lead and develop the People Operations GMIO team, managing workload, priorities, and performance

Ensure high‑quality, timely, and consistent HR services aligned with local regulations and global standards

Manage relationships with HRBPs, COEs, Local Leadership, Legal, IT and other stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of changes. Prioritize, support & invest in practices that enhance the organization’s diversity, equity and inclusion.

Operate with unwavering integrity, ensuring compliance with GM’s code of conduct, policies & practices.

Inspire, coach and develop a team of HR Analysts and associates to work together as a high performing team

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

At least 7 years of experience in HR, People Operations or Process Optimization.

Proven experience in: end‑to‑end process management and project management, digital tools and data analytics, process improvement, standardization, or automation projects.

Advanced English language proficiency (global interaction and documentation).

Process and systems thinking, with data‑driven decision making.

Employee‑centric mindset and strong focus on end‑to‑end journeys.

Project management, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.
-
Strong orientation to results, simplification, and continuous improvement.

People leadership and capability development.

Stakeholder and change management in matrix, multicultural environments.
