This is an exciting and dynamic role that works closely with the Director and the broader GM Fleet team. In this position, you will serve as the subject matter expert for Rental Agencies and Leasing companies, helping to drive GM vehicle sales. By leveraging your skills and collaborating across General Motors of Canada teams — including Brand, Legal, Finance, and Distribution — you will help grow rental and short-term commercial volume.
This role requires exceptional communication, product knowledge, and sales capability .
What You’ll Do

Drive incremental volume with rental and leasing companies.

Collaborate with Distribution, Legal, Brand, and Finance teams to support sales growth.

Attend key GM Fleet and industry events to promote loyalty to GM products and conquest sales.

Deliver annual contracts that support volume and growth objectives.

Ensure allocation is in place to build required units.

Partner with Dealers to fulfill rental and short-term commercial business.

Ensure buildable orders are submitted to Canadian Vehicle Distribution for production.

Manage monthly reports, communicate performance and results, and request finance support as needed during monthly Fleet meetings.

Provide critical ordering, distribution, and other key updates to rental and short-term commercial customers.

Work with Finance and GM Financial on Remarketing of Vehicles.
Required Skills, Experience, and Education

Proven Sales Experience and strong asset.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with proven sales capability.

Strong analytical skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with particular emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.

Ability to build strong relationships and manage expectations with Dealers, customers, regional teams, and other GM Fleet team members.

Ability to work independently and balance competing priorities while maintaining effectiveness.

Strong time management skills, with the ability to focus on the highest-impact activities.

Past working experience of working with Dealers and Customers is considered an asset.

Experience in the automotive industry, and specific knowledge of GM sales operations across Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, and Cadillac brands, is considered an asset.

Undergraduate degree in business or a related field.

Valid Divers License.

Ability to travel occasionally across Canada.

Work location Ontario.
Compensation
The salary range for this role is $131,000.00 to $180,900.00. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
