About the Organizations:
The Autonomous Vehicle (AV) organization is dedicated to advancing the development of autonomous vehicles through cutting-edge simulation technologies and novel iterative development processes. The Software Validation organization holds end-to-end accountability for every capability and feature spanning the autonomy software system. The SAFE-ADS team is responsible for internal and external Safety Assurance processes, claims, accumulation of evidence, reporting and response to inquiries for GMs Automated Driving Systems.
The Role
In this Technical Program Manager (TPM) position, you will play a critical role at the interface between the Autonomous Vehicle (AV) Software Validation team and the Safety Assurance for Effective Autonomous Driving Software (SAFE-ADS) team within GM’s Global Product Safety, Systems and Certification organization. You will work cross-functionally to develop industry leading AV quantification methods, scale them in software for near-term AV program validation as well as to provide long term GM AV safety monitoring, reporting and incident response.
