Incentives Transformation Manager – Global Business Solutions
Our GBS Transact-to-Deliver team is reshaping the future of vehicle pricing, incentives, and billing at General Motors. We aim to strengthen GM’s go-to-market capability with centralized, integrated processes and technology that deliver real-time insight into sales and profitability.
We are looking for a transformational leader to own and advance large-scale, dealer-facing initiatives that shape our future state. This role will be accountable for continuously improving the Connected Incentives dealer application, delivering training and communications for dealers, and leading dealer troubleshooting and triage to drive a seamless experience. Success requires a strong blend of strategic thinking and execution, with an emphasis on innovative solutions, change leadership, and relentless focus on the dealer experience. This is a high-visibility role with significant exposure to senior leadership and will require extensive communication, alignment, and coordination across business and IT partners to deliver outcomes at scale.
This role encompasses the following key focus areas:
Team Leadership
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of analysts and project leaders
- Provide clear direction, coaching, and feedback to support team growth and readiness for future roles
Design & Delivery
- Define and drive the future-state strategy and design for Connected Incentives
- Lead the development of requirements and acceptance criteria
- Plan, create, and deliver Connected Incentives training and communications to dealers
- Support technology deployment, cutover, and hyper-care activities to ensure a smooth dealer experience
Production Support + Stakeholder Alignment & Change
- Collaborate cross functionally with leaders across Sales & Marketing, Finance, Controllership, Global Business Solutions, and IT
- Partner with dealers to optimize implementation of the system within their processes
- Promptly respond to feedback, questions, and concerns from the field team and dealers (production support)
Basic Required Skills:
- Undergraduate degree in business related field (Finance, Sales & Marketing, Information Systems, or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years of related business, project management, or transformation experience
- 3 + years of management experience
- Results oriented work style with the ability to drive transformation and change
- Collaborative and interactive approach to problem solving
- Strong project management skills (scope, timeline, risk, and stakeholder management)
- Exceptional facilitation and influencing skills, with the ability to drive alignment and decisions across stakeholders
- Clear and structured critical thinking skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of management and with external partners (including dealers)
- Willingness to work nights and weekends during deployment windows
- Willingness to be on-call after hours for urgent dealer requests
- Travel up to 25%
Location: Hybrid. This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the - Global HQ Warren MI three times per week, at minimum [or other frequency dictated by the business]
