Join our Wentzville plant finance team as a Senior Financial Analyst, where you will partner closely with operations to drive informed decisions, improve cost performance, and support the financial success of the plant. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who is agile, scrappy, tech savvy, and ready to lead in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
In this role, you will provide financial leadership across key plant activities, deliver actionable insights to business partners, and help shape decision-making through strong analysis, forecasting, reporting, and process improvement. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in accounting and finance, thrives in change, builds strong relationships across the business, is energized by solving problems and driving results, and is eager to lean in on AI and new technology to improve the way work gets done.
Key Responsibilities

Own monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting activities to support accurate and timely close processes

Lead forecasting and budgeting activities, with initial responsibility for indirect material forecasting in assigned areas of responsibility

Analyze financial performance, cost drivers, and operational trends to identify risks, opportunities, and improvement actions

Develop clear, actionable insights that support plant leadership and operational decision-making

Partner cross-functionally with operations, HR, purchasing, and other business teams to communicate financial impact and influence outcomes

Leverage systems and tools such as Power BI, Power Query, SAP, Hyperion, and Excel to enhance reporting and analysis
-
Improve processes, streamline workflows, and automate recurring reporting to increase efficiency and accuracy
-
Support strong internal controls and ensure compliance with SOX and company financial policies
-
Investigate variances, validate assumptions, and provide recommendations to improve financial and operational performance
-
Serve as a trusted business partner who can translate financial data into meaningful guidance for non-financial stakeholders
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

5 or more years of experience in Finance or Accounting

Manufacturing finance experience preferred

Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and indirect material forecasting

Experience with journal entries, accrual accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close processes

Advanced Excel skills and experience with modern analytics and reporting tools such as Power BI, Power Query, and SQL
-
Experience working with enterprise financial systems such as SAP and Hyperion preferred
-
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
-
Quick learner who adapts well to change, embraces new technology, and is willing to lean in on AI to improve efficiency and insight generation

Strong communication skills with the ability to build credibility and partner effectively across functions

Self-starter with integrity, accountability, and a strong drive to deliver results
