Descripción
Global Manufacturing Electrical & SDV is looking for innovators who thrive in tough challenges and are passionate about tackling meaningful work that will shape the future of the automotive industry. This role is responsible for defining the future of end-of-line manufacturing systems that verify, calibrate, and validate increasingly complex vehicle technologies before they reach our customers.
As a technical leader, you will influence global manufacturing strategy, drive standardization across plants, and develop innovative solutions supporting advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), active safety features, vehicle alignment, headlamp aim, and future autonomous vehicle technologies.
If you're passionate about solving complex technical challenges, influencing enterprise-wide standards, and shaping the next generation of manufacturing systems, we'd love to hear from you.
This Role Is Ideal For
Engineering leaders and technical experts with deep experience in vehicle calibration, ADAS manufacturing systems, alignment technologies, or end-of-line validation who want to shape enterprise standards, influence future vehicle launches, and drive global manufacturing innovation.
WHY
Ensure GM's global manufacturing operations are equipped to build, calibrate, and validate increasingly complex vehicles by developing industry-leading end-of-line systems, manufacturing standards, and automation strategies. This role helps improve Electrical First Time Quality (EFTQ), reduce warranty exposure, enhance production efficiency, and ensure every vehicle meets quality expectations before reaching the customer.
WHAT
As the End-of-Line Systems Technical Expert, you will serve as the global subject matter expert for manufacturing systems supporting vehicle alignment, headlamp aim, active safety calibration, and autonomous vehicle calibration. You will define technical standards, shape future manufacturing strategies, influence vehicle and equipment design decisions, and provide expert guidance to global plants and engineering teams.
HOW
Partner with manufacturing, product engineering, program teams, suppliers, and plant operations to develop standardized end-of-line systems that are scalable, automation-ready, and globally deployable. Drive innovation, solve complex technical problems, and establish future-ready manufacturing solutions that support emerging vehicle technologies and evolving customer expectations.
Work Arrangement – Onsite
The successful candidate is expected to report to the Warren Tech Center on a full-time basis. This role requires up to 50% domestic and international travel.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
