General Motors is seeking a Project Manager to support the GBST Incentives portfolio. In this role, you will drive planning, execution, and cross-functional delivery for key incentives initiatives, including Connected Incentives, CIMS and Claims-related work, Fleet incentives integration, and transformation efforts tied to OTDS and VBARS decommissioning.
Key Responsibilities

Lead project planning and execution across a portfolio of incentives initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, dependencies, and delivery milestones

Build and manage integrated project plans, milestone tracking, RAID logs, decision logs, and executive-ready status updates

Partner with business, IT, product, finance, SAP/OTDS, Connected Incentives, CIMS, Claims, and testing teams to align scope, timing, readiness, and issue resolution

Drive refinement of business requirements and user stories to support development, testing, deployment, and change readiness

Identify risks, remove roadblocks, escalate issues proactively, and support timely, data-driven decision making

Coordinate cross-functional testing, implementation readiness, production support, and hypercare activities

Support transformation efforts that improve incentive processing, dealer experience, operational efficiency, and platform modernization

Influence outcomes across teams without direct authority by building strong relationships, facilitating alignment, and maintaining momentum

Own project timelines, deliverables, and dependency management for assigned GBST Incentives workstreams

Facilitate recurring project meetings, stakeholder reviews, working sessions, and leadership readouts

Translate broad business challenges into structured execution plans that can be delivered by cross-functional teams

Monitor progress against scope, schedule, and milestones, highlighting variances and recommending recovery actions

Support release planning and coordinate readiness across requirements, development, testing, communications, and business validation

Use data and analysis to communicate tradeoffs, support decisions, and demonstrate project value

Help strengthen project delivery discipline, processes, and team coordination across the broader incentives function
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
-
5+ years of relevant experience.

Significant project or program management experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives
-
Strong experience managing multiple workstreams, timelines, stakeholders, and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Demonstrated ability to operate independently and exercise sound judgment on significant matters
-
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive alignment without direct people leadership

Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to tailor messaging for both working teams and leadership audiences
-
Experience with project planning, issue and risk management, dependency tracking, and status reporting
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify options and recommend actionable solutions
Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models
-
Experience translating business requirements into user stories and supporting refinement with technical teams

Experience coordinating UAT, release readiness, and production issue resolution

Knowledge of dealer-facing or enterprise process transformation efforts

Location: Hybrid. This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the - Global HQ Warren MI three times per week, at minimum [or other frequency dictated by the business]
