The Role:
The AV Meeting Services Manager is a leader responsible for owning the IT & Facilities nexus, conference rooms, public spaces and the team that maintains them on a daily basis, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction through daily operations in support of conference room technology & meeting services from early diligence through integration and stabilization. This leader will assess and manage IT risk, and partner with executives (internal and acquired) to ensure technology risks and opportunities are clearly understood, quantified, and acted upon.
What You'll Do:

Manage MEETING SERVICES IT team members scheduling, career path, tools and resources.

Own the MEETING SERVICES IT workstream across the lifecycle of conference rooms and the evolution of large interactive events.

Assure that conference rooms and other collaborative shared spaces are functioning as designed. Manage service tickets, collect data on defects and participate in engineering solutions to eliminate future defects.

Navigate and bring clarity to ambiguity and chaos – quickly understand new environments, identify what matters most, and create a path forward where structure may not yet exist.

Ask the right questions and act autonomously, escalating only when needed; operate as a trusted point of contact for Meeting Services topics.

Build structure and repeatable foundations – frameworks, playbooks, templates, and standard approaches for Meeting Services assessments, integration plans, and reporting.

Assess the IT landscape of current state and plot a path for the future, including applications, infrastructure, data, security, end-user computing, and vendor footprint, to inform risk, cost, and prioritization.

Engage C-level and senior executives at acquired entities with professionalism and credibility, building trust while driving towards timely decisions and data.

Identify, quantify, and communicate IT risk, including ability to:

Describe risk in business terms

Associate high-level cost and effort to remediate

Propose pragmatic remediation and/or mitigation options
-
Work cross-functionally with internal IT and business teams (e.g., Security, Infrastructure, End User, Networking, Apps, Data, Finance, HR, Legal) to coordinate diligence, integration planning, and execution.

Create clear, executive-ready communications and updates, including risk summaries, integration status, and decision logs.

Continuously improve the Meeting Services operating model, refining processes, tooling, and metrics based on lessons learned from each transaction.
What You'll Need:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred but not required based on experience.

Significant prior Audio Video Support experience is required, with direct responsibility for IT workstreams (diligence, Day 1, integration, or carve-outs).

8+ years of progressive experience in IT and/or Facilities Management with exposure to multiple domains (infrastructure, applications, security, end-user, data, etc.), including:

Ability to understand how the pieces fit together in a company’s IT landscape
-
Comfort translating technical concepts into business and risk language
-
3+ years of people leadership experience, leading managers and/or senior individual contributors in complex, cross-functional environments.

Demonstrated experience assessing technology risk, including estimating high-level remediation cost/effort and presenting options to senior stakeholders.

Proven track record operating in ambiguous, fast-changing environments, ideally in Meeting Services, transformation, or similar high-change contexts.

Experience engaging with C-level executives and senior stakeholders, including in acquired or partner organizations.

Strong program and portfolio management skills – prioritization, dependency management, and execution tracking across multiple concurrent deals.
