JOB DESCRIPTION – FINANCE SUPERVISOR, DSX GMSA
The Finance Supervisor, DSX GMSA is a key people leader role responsible for supporting all financial operations, financial planning, and financial structure activities across the Digital Services & Experiences business in GMSA. This role combines team leadership, strategic financial planning, operational execution, and cross-functional business partnership in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
This position will lead financial processes across multiple DSX areas, including OnStar, BI & Analytics, Digital Products, and Contact Center, while partnering closely with commercial, product, accounting, vehicle finance, and global FP&A teams. The role also serves as the main financial contact for the DSX and ODS Directors in GMSA, with direct reporting to the Finance Manager – Digital Services & Experiences – International, based in Dubai.
The ideal candidate will bring strong financial acumen, leadership capability, operational discipline, and the ability to navigate ambiguity while supporting growth, automation, innovation, and long-term strategic planning across the region.
Key Responsibilities

Manage a diverse team of GM employees and contingent workers responsible for P&L management, billing flows, and the e-commerce and payments environment

Lead people management activities including conflict resolution, relationship building, team development, time management, prioritization, and ambiguity management

Lead the OnStar Financials 2.0 project focused on automation, forecast remodeling, and data visualization
-
Lead GMSA DSX strategy for the OnStar offering, including free trial period, Digital RPO, subscription offering, and alignment with commercial and product teams on pricing strategies

Identify innovative solutions to expand OnStar package sales to dealers and other businesses across GMSA markets
-
Develop business cases for new products and long-term strategic initiatives within OnStar and DSX
-
Maintain accounting and administrative policies and processes for all DSX GMSA countries
-
Provide financial support for billing issue resolution and scope structuring within the finance team

Support business development activities such as pricing, sourcing, market analysis, and research

Consolidate and monitor operational KPIs including churn, grace period, and payment success rate

Lead and coordinate the analysis and reporting of GMSA DSX financial performance to management, including projections, variance analysis, and special projects

Prepare executive-level presentations and ad hoc analyses for the DSX VP and senior leadership

Lead execution of financial processes including closing, forecast, budget, and long-term planning
-
Prepare short- and long-term financial forecasts and support business performance planning

Coordinate and collaborate with GMSA vehicle finance and broader business teams
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

Appropriate finance certifications
-
Fluent English is required
-
Strong background in financial consolidation, P&L reporting, and variance analysis

Experience with SAP and Hyperion in a finance environment

Advanced Excel and strong analytical and reporting tool capability, including large data models

Experience with financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting
-
Proven ability to work with global, US, and regional teams while managing multiple stakeholders and deadlines

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities across global closing and planning timelines

Experience presenting to senior management

Strong cross-functional operational exposure and ability to work in a matrixed environment across geographies

Ability to operate effectively and lead in ambiguous situations

High level of curiosity and willingness to deep dive into data, systems, and processes

Strong leadership capability, including team management, influence, and stakeholder engagement
