Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to GM AMEO - Headquarters three times per week or other frequency dictated by the business.
The Role
Join GM Middle East in a high-impact leadership role shaping commercial success across KSA, Bahrain, Iraq, Lebanon, and Jordan. As General Manager Sales (Region 1), you will lead regional sales performance across wholesale, retail, fleet, dealer operations, and customer experience, turning business priorities into strong market execution. You will work closely with country managers, dealer partners, and cross-functional teams to drive growth, improve performance, and strengthen execution standards across the region. This is an opportunity to lead at scale, influence key commercial outcomes, and make a visible impact on GM’s performance in some of the region’s most important markets.
What You’ll Do - Formerly known as Responsibilities

Lead the sales strategy and commercial execution for Region 1 across KSA, Bahrain, Iraq, Lebanon, and Jordan.

Own regional delivery of wholesale, retail, fleet, accessories, and CPOV objectives.

Drive dealer and market performance through disciplined KPI management, forecasting, and operating reviews.

Partner with product marketing, distribution, finance, and business development teams to translate plans into profitable market action.

Strengthen retail and fleet performance by guiding sales objectives, product mix, tender support, and execution standards.

Coach and develop country managers and market leaders while building a high-performance, accountable team culture.
Your Skills & Abilities
-
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business.
-
7+ years of experience in automotive sales, commercial operations, or closely related consulting.

Strong knowledge of business management, automotive products, and regional commercial operations.

Demonstrated strength in forecasting, target setting, business planning, and customer relationship management.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Experience leading sales performance across multiple Middle East markets.

Experience leading country managers or comparable market-facing commercial teams.

Experience managing dealer performance, fleet channels, accessories growth, and retail marketing execution.

Arabic language capability.

Strong executive presence with the ability to influence across functions and lead effectively in ambiguity.
