Work model: This position will be on-site three days a week (Tuesday through Thursday).
We are looking for a Product Quality Engineer to lead data-driven, customer-focused problem solving on vehicle field performance. You will use advanced analytics, AI-enabled insights, and structured quality tools to quickly identify, prioritize, and eliminate customer pain points, improving satisfaction, the customer experience, and warranty performance.
You will have the opportunity to work with full vehicle content and learn from every major system, while navigating across multiple business areas – from design and manufacturing to logistics, sales, and call centers. If you enjoy having an end-to-end view of the product, this role is for you!
What You’ll Do

Drive the quality agenda in cross-functional program forums, ensuring safety and key quality risks are clearly framed, owned, and resolved in a timely manner.

Lead investigations of priority customer issues (warranty, VOC, field data, incidents) from problem definition to containment, root cause, and permanent corrective action.

Analyze multi-source data (warranty, DTCs, telematics, plant, field reports, surveys) to find patterns, risks, and priorities.

Apply structured problem-solving tools (Red X / DFSS, 8D, DMAIC, FMEA) to secure sustainable fixes.

Use AI and digital tools (copilots, dashboards, basic ML) to accelerate detection, prioritization, and decision-making.

Influence Engineering, Manufacturing, and Suppliers to implement design / process changes that prevent recurrence.

Monitor and report key quality KPIs and action effectiveness, providing clear status and recommendations.

Build and champion strong relationships across multiple functions and regions, managing conflict and influencing outcomes without direct authority.

Qualifications (Required)

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and Active registration (CREA)

Experience in quality, product development, field performance, or similar roles dealing with customer issues.

Proven experience using data analysis and structured problem solving to resolve complex technical or systemic issues.

Proficiency with data tools (e.g. Excel, Power BI, SQL, Python/R or equivalent) and comfort with large datasets.

Working knowledge of quality / issue resolution tools (Red X, DFSS, 8D, FMEA, control plans, SPC).

Strong English communication skills; able to translate complex topics for technical and non-technical audiences.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence across functions and levels without direct authority.

Enjoys a dynamic routine and is recognized for the strong drive for results, ownership, resilience, and urgency in improving customer experience and business results.
Qualifications (Preferred)

Master’s degree in relevant technical or data discipline.

Experience with automotive development and/or manufacturing (GVDP, GPDP, APQP, launch, validation, field actions).

Practical exposure to AI / ML concepts or advanced analytics platforms.

Certifications in structured problem solving and/or OpEx (Red X, DFSS, Six Sigma, Lean, OpEx).

Experience in multi-country or regional environments; Spanish a plus.
