Location: Lockport, NY
Role Type: Part Time, Temporary, Onsite
Shift: This role operates on a swing shift schedule, offering two potential paths:
- Permanent 3rd Shift (A Shift): You will work this shift permanently and receive a 10% shift premium.
- Rotational Shift: You will alternate between 1st shift (B Shift) and 2nd shift (C Shift) every other week. You will receive a 5% shift premium during the weeks you work the 2nd shift.
Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour

This role is categorized as onsite. This means the selected candidate is expected to report to Lockport for all scheduled work hours.

The Role

Our Production Team Members are valuable members of our Assembly Line. They assemble vehicle components by utilizing the materials and tools provided. They may also be responsible for selecting and attaching parts to vehicles or components using hoists, hand tools, machinery, or other equipment.

You are skilled in using tools and machinery, including operating mobile equipment to move.

Minimum Requirements

18+ years old.
Eligible to work in the United States.
Availability to work up to 32 hours per week.
Must be willing to work the shift assigned by the site. Hours and days may vary based on business needs. Weekend and holiday work may be required.
Satisfactorily complete drug testing and a background check.
Proficiency to listen, read, follow work and safety instructions which are written in English.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in auto manufacturing.
Experience working in manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Experience identifying and reporting quality defects.
Experience operating mobile equipment or using specialized tools such as forklifts, pallet jacks, torque guns, hoists, or industrial vehicles.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Quick response to safety instructions, alarms, and signals are a must.
Ability to work and stand for extended periods.
Comfortably wear personal protective equipment.
Navigate a busy environment.
Bend, twist, kneel, crouch, and reach.
May need to lift or carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs. depending on department.
Occasional sitting during certain tasks.
Drive mobile equipment when needed.
