We offer a wide range of internship opportunities for bachelor’s-level students in both technical and non-technical fields, with expanding openings for those pursuing advanced degrees, including Master’s and Ph.D. programs.

To apply, you must submit your application to an open requisition by creating a Workday profile and uploading your resume.

Qualified applicants can expect an update on their application status within 2 weeks or sooner of their submittal.

If selected for an interview, candidates are notified by a member of the ECT Recruiting team and are given tips on how to best prepare for their interview.

  • The interview process may vary by role but typically includes a structured interview with one or more leaders from the team. Some positions may also include a skills assessment or other technical evaluation.
  • Interview questions are designed to explore both behavioral and role-relevant skills, giving candidates the opportunity to showcase their experiences, strengths, and motivation.
  • Candidates can select their preferred interview dates and times using our AI scheduling tools.
  • The recruiting team aims to provide updates within approximately two weeks after the final interview.

Start your GM summer adventure with a 12-week onsite internship beginning in May or June.

Based on your performance and GM’s business needs, you may be considered for full-time employment or invited to join GM’s early-career rotational programs, such as TRACK, after your internship.
