Job Summary:
General Motors de Mexico is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Supervisor for a temporal role, responsible for overseeing and optimizing processes within our manufacturing facility.
Job Responsibilities:
* Supervise and lead a team of production operators, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and production schedules.
* Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
* Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
* Ensure the proper maintenance and operation of equipment, coordinating with maintenance teams as needed.
* Train and mentor production personnel on best practices for machining processes, including equipment operation, quality control, and safety procedures.
* Collaborate with manufacturing engineering, quality, and logistics teams to optimize production flow and achieve manufacturing objectives.
* Implement and enforce lean manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement in operations.
* Prepare and present production reports to management, highlighting performance, challenges, and proposed solutions.
Job Qualifications:

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment, specifically with extensive knowledge of processes.

Strong understanding of various techniques, tools, and equipment.

* Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve production targets.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.

Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications.

Familiarity with quality control systems and methodologies relevant to assembly process.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively interacting with all levels of the organization.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; or relevant experience

Advanced English, able to maintain a fluent conversation

Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role

Shift flexibility: Availability to work on rotating shifts (4x3 schedule).
