The Role
The Lead, Marketing Performance will own the regional agenda for marketing measurement, optimization and performance management.
This role will be responsible for improving how GM South America measures campaign effectiveness, understands drivers of performance and activates learnings to improve results.
This person will work in close connection with the global Marketing Applied Sciences agenda, ensuring South America can adopt relevant methodologies, tools and use cases while translating them into practical business impact for the region.
What you will do (responsabilities):

Lead the measurement, reporting, and optimization of marketing performance across channels, campaigns, and markets in South America.

Define and manage KPI frameworks, scorecards, dashboards, and performance metrics to support data-driven decision-making.

Partner with Media, CRM, Brand, and Martech teams to improve campaign tracking, measurement, and overall marketing effectiveness.

Identify performance drivers, gaps, and growth opportunities across audiences, channels, investments, and creative strategies.

Drive test-and-learn initiatives and optimization routines, turning analytics into actionable recommendations for the business.

Serve as the primary South America liaison to the global Marketing Applied Sciences team, ensuring adoption of advanced analytics and measurement capabilities.

Support annual and quarterly planning through performance insights, benchmarking, and scenario analysis.

Collaborate closely with regional and global stakeholders to promote best practices, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement in marketing performance.

Your skills and abilities (required qualifications):

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Engineering, Statistics or a related field (ideally)

Solid experience in performance marketing, media analytics, digital analytics, campaign measurement or similar functions

Experience with marketing KPIs, attribution logic, experimentation or optimization frameworks
-
Experience working with advanced analytics methods such as MMM, incrementality testing or predictive modeling

Strong dashboarding and data interpretation capabilities
-
Ability to synthesize complex findings into simple business recommendations

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Portuguese (ideally Spanish)
What can you give a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):

Experience with paid media, CRM, web analytics and full-funnel campaign management

Familiarity with SQL, BI tools, tagging, data visualization and reporting automation

Experience in a regional or multi-market environment
