Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the office three times per week or other frequency dictated by the business.
The Role:
The Program Quality Engineer helps deliver quality results for an assigned vehicle line from development to end of production. Working under general supervision, the role applies established quality processes and exercises judgment within defined procedures. also represent the customer’s voice throughout development, support delivery of regional quality targets, resolve routine and non-routine quality issues in a timely manner, support the quality of new software and technology features for smooth launches, and support reliable launches of new software and connected features across vehicle electrical architectures (e.g., Global B, CLEA).
What You’ll Do

Apply the quality targets set with the Lead Program Quality Manager and execute plans to meet them.

Track Country Specific Requirements (CSRs), provide supporting data, and escalate when not met.

Support agreed fixes and recovery plans in global quality meetings.

Take part in Product Quality Readiness Reviews (PQRRs) and the regional Start of Sales, supplier, hardware, and start-of-production reviews.

Identify and escalate risks, and confirm fixes are in place.

Execute the regional Captured Test Fleet (CTF) program end to end (ordering, scheduling, shipping, tracking, software updates, issue resolution).

Carry out port-of-exit and port-of-entry inspections.

Support the Field Early Warning program and home-team in-country verification.

Support current vehicle lines in meeting quality targets (IPTV, CPV, customer satisfaction, warranty spend).

Log and track issues in problem-resolution systems and support status reporting.

Report all safety concerns through the established process.

Track fixes from source plants and platforms, and escalate delays.
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
Experience and education
- An engineering degree in mechanical, electrical, or an equivalent discipline.
- At least 5 years of relevant automotive experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 2 years with a master’s.
- Reliability or service engineering experience is an advantage.
Knowledge
-
A solid automotive background in engineering, quality, service, or manufacturing.

Experience with quality processes and the vehicle development process, including production launch, part approval, quality assessment, customer audits, and warranty and customer-survey measures.
Skills
-
Comfortable with standard office software (Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint) and basic AI skills (e.g., dashboards and agents).

Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
-
Works well in cross-functional and global teams and shares data quickly to drive improvements.
-
Arabic language skills are an advantage.
-
Familiarity with structured problem-solving methods (Operational Excellence, Red X, Design for Six Sigma) is helpful.
